Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo
Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo are the main islands of the archipelago, small jewels that emerge from an enchanting clear and blue sea. Nature has not yet been touched by the human hand. Sandy coves alternate with pebble beaches. There are caves and pristine cliffs. You can enjoy the view of a turquoise sea, heavenly, transparent as if it were pure water, lush of life, ideal for snorkeling and diving.
Favignana, the most important island of the archipelago, has numerous beaches, such as Cala Rossa and Cala Azzurra. The former Florio beach resort is a piece of Sicilian history, where today it is possible to celebrate weddings with a civil ceremony.
Marettimo is the furthest from the Trapani coast. Indomitable and proud, its tall white cliffs overlooking the crystal clear sea offer one of the most beautiful landscapes of this corner of the Mediterranean. On the summit of the rock of “Punta Troia” is anchored an eighteenth-century castle of Spanish origin.
Levanzo is the smallest of the three main islands of the Egadi Islands. A corner of paradise rich in vegetation with numerous caves. In that of the Genovese it is possible to admire engravings on the rock that date back to none other than the Paleolithic Age.
